Down, past the mighty Mourne Mountains and into Co. Louth, home to the rugged Cooley Mountains and beautiful Carlingford Lough, then on to Cavan town.

Leaving Europa Buscentre, we drive south past the Mournes, through Newcastle to Carlingford where we stop for lunch. Travelling around the Cooley Peninsula we continue inland to our hotel in Cavan town.

Today we drive to Fermanagh and visit Florence Court. Then we circumnavigate Lower Lough Erne and arrive in Enniskillen in time for lunch and leisure.B, D
After breakfast we take the scenic route to Carrick-on-Shannon and board the ‘Moon River’ for a one-hour cruise on the Shannon- Erne Waterway. There’s time to explore the town before we return to our hotel in late afternoon.B, D
A relaxing morning in the award-winning Cavan County Museum, with artefacts dating from the stone age to the 20th century. Afternoon is spent in Cavan town, returning to the hotel at 4.30pm.B, D
