For this series of tours we return to the popular family run three-star Kees Hotel in Ballybofey. All 53 en-suite bedrooms come with TV, hairdryer, tea/ coffee making facilities and free WiFi. The hotel boosts a swimming pool, gym, Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room.
We depart Belfast travelling via the Glenshane Pass for a leisurely drive to Ballybofey where we are greeted with a roaring fire and afternoon tea. There is entertainment after dinner tonight.

We drive through Glenties and Ardara and past the Blue Stack Mountains before reaching the fishing port of Killybegs, where you might just catch a sight of the seals. The afternoon takes us to Donegal Town, home of the O’Donnell Clan and Donegal Castle, where we spend some time before returning to the hotel. Entertainment follows dinner tonight.B, D
Today we explore a small part of the Wild Atlantic Way (weather permitting) and travel through the Fanad Head Peninsula, a world that lives and breathes through its land and seascapes, stopping first at Portsalon. Continuing our journey north we stop at the Fanad Head Lighthouse (photo opportunity) before turning west to Sheephaven Bay and Dunfanaghy. It is that weleave the coast and head inland to back to our hotel via Letterkenny. Entertainment follows dinner tonight.B, D
After breakfast we travel west to Dungloe for the highlight of the day, the Daniel O’Donnell Visitor Centre which tells his story through displays, videos and exclusive memorabilia.B, D
We return to Belfast via Omagh, arriving back in mid-afternoon.B
