A visit to Connemara, situated at the very edge of Europe, is a unique experience, the Ireland of the past that people dream about. This is a land of mountains, lakes and waterfalls, rocky coastlines, golden sunsets over the sea, thatched cottages, welcoming villages, and verdant pastures dotted with little Connemara ponies.

The Clifden Station House Hotel, in the heart of Connemara, is set around the old Clifden Railway Station. The hotel is in the centre of Clifden town and offers 78 en-suite bedrooms all with interactive TV, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities and free WiFi in public areas. The hotel’s recently refurbished leisure centre has an 18m pool, gym, sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi.
