The Japanese Gardens in County Kildare, acclaimed to be the finest in Europe, symbolise the journey of man with key life events from the cradle to the grave. St. Fiachras Garden, created for the start of the millennium, includes an underground garden with plants and rocks surprisingly made of Waterford crystal. The National Stud, on the same site, is home to some of Irelands finest thoroughbreds and includes the Irish Horse Museum.
