Each of Norways spectacular, icehewn fjords has its own unique characteristics, but the most breathtaking of all, Geirangerfjord, forms a backdrop to this wonderful air and coach tour. Offered in conjunction with Scandinavian specialists, Norman Allen Group Travel, and travelling with our specialist Norwegian coach operator (our courier on board throughout), we will experience the fjords, lakes, glaciers, towering mountains and rushing waterfalls of this beautiful country. The tour culminates with the fabulous Norway in a Nutshell excursion and includes hotels in Geiranger, Stalheim and overnights in Oslo, with return fights via Dublin.

Belfast to Dublin Airport for fights direct to Oslo. We transfer north to our overnight hotel.
Hotel Day 1: Scandic Hotel, Hamar (1 night D, B&B)
We travel west to our hotel which overlooks the fabulous Geirangerfjord (full day travel).
Hotel : Union Hotel, Geiranger (2 nights D, B&B)
This full day takes us across the high mountain ranges of Norway’s Golden Route and features two superb scenic highlights ascending the Eagle Road and crossing a fjord to climb the mighty Troll Road. We’ll experience Norwegian nature at its most powerful, with dizzying views of cascading waterfalls and deep fjords, encircled by sheer, lofty mountains.B, D
After breakfast the fjord ferry cruiser sails us along Geirangerfjord, past the famous Seven Sisters waterfall, on our way to Hellesylt. Our coach then takes us on the scenic journey to
Stalheim, crossing the Nordflord at Mannheller (full day travel).

Today it’s the ‘Norway in a Nutshell’ excursion. Boarding the fjord cruiser, we sail down the narrow Naeroyfjord, hemmed in by steep cliffs, to Flam. Then we board the train for an unforgettable ascent through the mountains to Myrdal, for the coach journey back to Stalheim.B, D
Today we explore the stunning Sognefjord, the longest and deepest fjord in Norway. We visit the Wild Salmon Visitor Centre and, a typical Norwegian all-wood church.B, D
Sadly, it’s time to leave the fjords and return to Oslo to our overnight hotel (full day travel).

After seven much-travelled days, we fly to Dublin and return to Belfast.B
