We leave Belfast and travel to Sheffield on the early morning Stena Line ferry to Cairnryan.

We start today with a visit to Chatsworth House in the heart of the Peak District. There’s much to explore, including the magnificent Painted Hall, State Rooms, Sketch Galleries and Sculpture Gallery. Returning to our hotel we go through Bakewell, home to the Old Original Bakewell Pudding Shop.B, D
Today we travel to Matlock Bath, famous for its warm springs. Next stop is Buxton, known as ‘The Capital of the Peak District’. After lunch we visit Castleton, an outstandingly pretty village at the head of the Vale of Hope. We arrive back in Sheffield in late afternoonB, D
We head north to Cumbria, stopping at Harewood House, a wonderful building with an impressive art collection. Continuing along the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, we arrive in Keswick in time to freshen up before dinner.

After breakfast, we travel to Pooley Bridge at the northern end of Ullswater, where we board the Ullswater Steamer for an hour-long cruise. Our coach meets us at Glenridding and we continue our journey with a drive over the Kirkstone Pass to Bowness-on-WindermereB, D
Today we relax in Keswick and shop for bargains in the weekly market, located beside the hotel.B, D
We return to Belfast on the mid-afternoon Stena Line ferry from Cairnryan.B
