This traditional Victorian seaside town combines the essence of a seaside holiday with fabulous attractions and shopping. Known as the Floral Capital of the North West, Southport is awash with beautifully preserved flowerbeds and gardens. For 2018 we have a scenic tour of Lancashire, taking in the Cathedral of the Canals and a river cruise.

After breakfast we embark on an aquatic adventure, travelling to Northwich to visit the Anderton Boat Lift, the so-called ‘Cathedral of the Canals’, and enjoying a river cruise along the picturesque River Weaver to Northwich and back (please note the site is sloped and there are 10 steps down to the boat). We return to Southport in mid-afternoon.B, D
