The county of Waterford has some of the most beautiful and varied scenery in Ireland, filled with historic sites, lush green river valleys and a stunning coastline.

Today we drive along the scenic Copper Coast to the pretty coastal town of Dungarvan for a ‘Meet and Greet’ before settling in for a couple of hours. In the afternoon we take a 40-minute return train journey on the Waterford & Suir Valley Railway, riding through the countryside enjoying panoramic views of the river, rolling farmland and hills of Waterford.B, D
We spend today at the Irish Agricultural Museum at Johnstown Castle, where you can explore the spectacular ornamental groundsand gardens, and see comprehensive displays of farming and rural life from the turn of the 18th century.B, D
We return to Belfast today via the Irish National Stud and Gardens, to explore its two gardens and see some of Ireland’s finest thoroughbreds.B
