Today we make use of a local coach operator and head west to Bristol where we first visit Brunel’s SS Great Britain, a museum ship and former passenger steamship. This morning we begin our tour of the Wiltshire countryside with a visit to Stonehenge where we explore the visitor’s centre and the Stone Circle. In the afternoon we continue our exploration heading through Marlborough Downs for a short stop in the archetypical English market town of Marlborough before returning to our hotel.B, D
After breakfast we proceed to Bath where we spend the day. Famous for its beautiful architecture, iconic sights and fascinating history there is plenty to explore. The Abbey, Roman Baths and the famous Pulteney Bridge are worth a visit or just relax on the banks of the River Avon.B, D
On leaving our hotel for the final time we make our way to Oxford the City of Dreaming Spires. Explore the historic streets and see the amazing architecture in this University City on the banks of the Thames. We will arrive at our overnight hotel in plenty of time for dinner.
